Maintenance Technician (Permanent - full time 41.5hrs)



Bradfor Ltd are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician for their factory in Rostrevor, Co.Down.



This is a great role offering lots of variety through a broad range of tasks and responsibility.

Based in Rostrevor, Bradfor Ltd is a family owned business established in 1996. It specialises in the manufacture of dress covers, diaphragms, life vest pouches, straps and general upholstery for prestigious local and international aerospace companies.

This is a permanent role to undertake the maintenance, servicing and repair of a broad range of company machinery and tools with a particular emphasis on sewing machines. The role holder will also be responsible for the general maintenance of the factory site both internally and externally. It is essential that the jobholder will work flexibly and have the ability to undertake other roles throughout the factory as and when required deemed within their capability

MAIN DUTIES



Repair and service of sewing machines Repair and service of other equipment and tools Assist with the installation of any new equipment on site. Contribute to efficiencies through preventative maintenance, helping to reduce the need for downtime. Attending all training courses either internal or external to ensure skills to fulfil the role are acquired and maintained. The movement of equipment around the factory safely when necessary Liaising with other departments and external suppliers in a professional and courteous manner. H&S compliance at all times First Aider
You will be working alongside a small production team providing them with maintenance support in a number of areas across the production process.

What you need



You need at least 2 years' experience in a Maintenance/Repair Technician role.

Be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel

An excellent communicator is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and third parties.

Not everything is always straightforward so you will also need to have a flexible attitude to work as plans can sometimes change to ensure our customers' needs are met. The role is busy and at times can be demanding when working to tight deadlines. It goes without saying that a high standard of work is required at all times, so a calm approach is essential.

You will need to be committed to delivering on performance and be able to take instruction from more experienced colleagues. Teamwork is a key factor in our success and underpins everything we do. We are all working to achieve the same goals so it is vital that you can demonstrate that you can work well as part of a team.

What now?
