This Role:



Maintain site plant and equipment to the required business and legal standards, improving machine efficiency and preventing unplanned downtime. Support the development of efficiency improvements in line with the objectives of the factory. Continuously develop and support the Planned Preventative Maintenance System, implementing and recommending improvements that will reduce further downtime. Complete checklists allocated on a selective basis to ensure adherence to plan. Support the successful introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services. Liaise with production equipment suppliers and engineering sub-contractors to organise repairs and breakdowns that cannot be accomplished on site.

We are looking for:



Essential:



Previous Electrical/Mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing background Possession of 18th edition wiring regulations certificate Experience of load cell tension control Experience of working with three phase/single phase circuits and intrinsically safe circuits Work at heights using access equipment. Must hold at least ONC qualification in an appropriate discipline.

Desirable:



Ideally HNC qualified Experience of PLC programming and interrogation on Siemens S7/S5 and Allen Bradley, Siemens, Yaskawa, Omron and Control Techniques drive systems. Possession of Health & Safety qualification i.e. IOSH would be advantageous. Possession of a Compex (DSEAR) qualification would be advantageous. Possession of a full current UK driving licence would be preferable although not essential.
