Maintenance Technician

ANNUAL GROSS SALARY (Salary ranges for Grade):

36'191.81 - 39126.28 DOE Plus shift allowance.

JOB SCOPE

To work as part of a maintenance team to ensure a safe & efficient equipment performance is delivered within the safety, quality, cost, people & environment framework. Technical response to breakdowns of all facilities & their controls to deliver minimal downtime using safe working practices.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Completion of planned maintenance activities (Multi Skilled)

Liaising with Plant engineering on projects and improvements

Supporting manufacturing with changes

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring CMMS system is up to date

Create PM plan & executing PM's in line with plan

Supports equipment failure analysis

Reducing downtime through targeted activities

Effective reporting including 3c's & Data Collection

Stores Management including ordering

Updating maintenance systems

Data recording

Work on waste within maintenance & continuously seek efficiencies in all areas

Raise issues to minimize cost & quality impact

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALISATION):

Minimum HNC in engineering discipline (Electrical ideally)/completion of recognised apprenticeship.

LANGUAGES:

Fluent English

EXPERIENCES:

Ideally hold experience within a similar role, gained in a fast moving, automotive manufacturing environment.

OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS

Both mechanical & electrical knowledge

Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

PLC skills

MCS - Manufacturing Control Systems

Injection mould experience

High standards of workmanship

Communicates effectively within the dept & within the wider team

In depth understanding of maintenance safe systems of work including lock out, tag out
