Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through regular maintenance and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical with strong electrical bias, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the facility.

Duties



Carry out effective maintenance of plant and machinery including the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Carry out fault finding and repairs to all production machinery, support services and auxiliary plant Effective teamwork, communication and co-operation with others within the department and other departments. Complete records of maintenance, defects, performance and corrective actions on the CMMS System (Pirana). Respond to equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability. Carry out tasks with a high level of Health and Safety awareness. Carry out RCA when required and record findings on the CMMS System. Suggest Continuous Improvement ideas to help with Factory processes and equipment reliability. Maintain clean engineering workshop, equipment and services including routine housekeeping and administrative duties. Perform regular rounds of the site and equipment, identifying and reporting defects and issues that affect the structure or reliability of the facility. Complete internal training as directed Ensure spare parts are accounted for and highlight when reordering of parts is required. Account for and order when necessary, all engineering consumable items Support the development of an environment where all the engineering team feel a sense of responsibility for improving the overall team performance. Be actively involved with the operations team to adhere to company standards and procedures on quality, hygiene and health and safety. Manage timing of preventative work to suit with production needs. Adhere to all company rules and procedures, paying particular attention to health and safety. Any other duties deemed necessary for the effective operation of the department
Role

Monday - Friday 1 week 07:00 - 16:00 1 week 15:00 - 00:00 rotating
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-47,000.00 per year
