From 28,254-29,755 per year + Overtime opportunities

Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

From one of our depots in Whitby, Scarborough or Kirby Misperton

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for hands-on work and problem-solving? We're looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic Property Services team. What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our properties. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Carrying out a wide range of general maintenance tasks including building, drainage, brickwork, joinery, plumbing, glazing, plastering, flooring, painting, tiling, fencing, and roofing. Supporting both planned maintenance and emergency response workstreams. Operating tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Assisting tradespeople (e.g. Joiners, Plumbers) on more complex jobs. Handling materials, receiving deliveries, and keeping work areas tidy and organised. Using handheld devices to record completed work and report defects. Following health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements. Participating in our on-call rota to respond to emergency repairs.

What We're Looking For:

Valid CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence Proven experience in a similar hands-on role Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Willingness to travel across the county and participate in the on-call rota Enhanced DBS check (Children's Barred List)
