We're looking for a Major Projects Lead to take ownership of A2Dominion's Key Blocks Programme, leading the end-to-end delivery of high-value, high-impact projects across our housing stock. This is a pivotal role, bringing together building safety, decarbonisation, component replacement, and long-term investment to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, sustainable, and resilient for years to come.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of the Key Blocks Programme, aligned with the Asset Management Plan, customer engagement strategy, and wider business objectives
Provide expert technical advice and assurance to the Executive Management Team and Board, including risk, performance, and delivery updates
Ensure programmes support building safety, decarbonisation, net zero, and wider sustainability goals
Oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from feasibility through to completion and handover
Ensure robust governance, controls, reporting, and risk management arrangements are in place
Promote a strong health & safety culture, proactively identifying and managing risks
Minimise customer impact and ensure disruption is well planned, communicated, and managed
Champion a customer-focused approach, ensuring clear, timely communication before, during, and after major works
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, contractors, consultants, regulators, local authorities, and other stakeholders
Operate within a matrix management environment, working collaboratively across teams to ensure successful programme delivery
Represent the organisation positively in all internal and external interactions
More About You
Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with extensive major works experience
Degree in Building Surveying, Construction, Property or related discipline
Extensive experience leading large-scale block / major works programmes in social housing or similarly regulated residential environments
Proven delivery of end-to-end programmes including fire safety, component replacement, decarbonisation and stock investment
Recognised senior technical authority for complex buildings and high-risk works
Strong experience working with Executive teams, Boards and Committees, providing clear technical advice and risk assurance
Demonstrable commercial and financial management experience, including procurement, contract management and cost control
In-depth knowledge of building safety legislation, golden thread requirements and regulatory compliance
Experience managing resident engagement, customer impact and escalated complaints within major works programmes
Proven ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment
Expert understanding of health & safety, CDM regulations and risk management
Strong leadership presence with the confidence to challenge contractors, consultants and senior stakeholders
