Insurance Commercial Lead - 300pd Outside IR35 - UK
About the Role
A leading broker group is seeking a skilled Commercial Lead to support the management of insurer partnerships and the delivery of key commercial objectives. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders to maintain strong insurer relationships, track and analyse performance and support the rollout of new products and propositions that drive profitable growth, customer value and compliance. You'll be joining a collaborative, data-driven team that works across multiple personal lines insurance product.
Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of insurer-led projects, from concept through to launch.
• Coordinate across internal teams (Commercial, Operations, Pricing, Data) to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives.
• Work with insurers to support on new insurance products, ensuring commercial alignment, operational readiness and compliance.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, identifying risks or blockers and ensuring actions are completed to plan.
• Support the rollout of new pricing, propositions or campaigns with insurer partners.
• Engage directly with insurer contacts to strengthen collaboration and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes (terms).
• Monitor performance post-launch, reporting on key metrics such as conversion, retention and loss ratios.
• Ensure all activity meets FCA and Consumer Duty standards, maintaining an audit-ready trail of documentation.

Key Skills

• Experience in insurance, ideally with a broker.
• Background in personal lines insurance - particularly motor insurance (home, travel, or pet experience will be beneficial).
• Comfortable working with performance data and producing clear, accurate reports.
• Proactive and commercially aware, with a focus on customer outcomes.
• Understanding of FCA product governance and Consumer Duty principles.
