We are currently recruiting for a

M

ale Support Worker

for an 11-hour post in our service in Southport. This service consists of 2 semi-detached properties, where we support 2 ladies and 2 gentlemen with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible.

In this role, you will work in a person-centred way, ensuring the people we support are supported to make choices and live their own lives. The individuals we support have a wide range of interests, so you might support them to go out walking, shopping, dancing, to bake, go on holiday and anything else they might enjoy doing!



In addition, you will provide support with everyday tasks within their homes, like cooking, cleaning, personal care, medication administration and managing finances.


This role is for a

set shift pattern

, which is:

Every second Thursday from 7am - 10pm


Every second Sunday from 7am - 2pm





Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010
