• Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insightful reports to support decision-making.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee reconciliation processes.
• Assist senior management with ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.

ProgressionDevelopment and exposure
A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Proven experience in management accounting within a professional setting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry is advantageous.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
