We're working in partnership with a reputable, forward - thinking business based in Birmingham that's entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. They're now looking to appoint a commercially minded and ambitious Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. What you will be doing:

You'll take full responsibility for managing a single P&L and balance sheet, with a particular focus on cost control, financial analysis, and automation of finance processes. This is far from a "back-office" role - you'll be working across the business, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and playing a key role in shaping how finance supports strategic decision-making.

Key duties include:

Producing and analysing monthly management accounts Managing and reporting on cost centres and departmental budgets Identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial risks Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Driving automation and improvements in financial systems and reporting Acting as a finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders
Who We're Looking For

This role would suit someone who is studying or newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), with strong commercial insight. Most importantly, we're after someone who is:
