Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing financial management activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities

Management reporting including monthly management accounts and variance analysis. Budgeting and forecasting, including annual budgets and periodic reforecasts. Month?end and year?end close activities including journals, reconciliations, and audit support. Financial analysis and business partnering for cost centres and strategic projects. Cash flow monitoring and capital expenditure reporting. Improving financial controls, systems, and processes. Liaising with stakeholders and supporting senior finance management.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong management accounting principles. CIMA/ACCA/ACA part?qualified or qualified. Financial modelling and analytical skills. Strong Excel and ERP type systems experience. Clear communication and business partnering. High attention to detail. Strong time management and problem?solving abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Part?qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). Relevant experience in management accounting, budgeting, and reporting. Degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred. Industry-specific experience beneficial.

Location

There is a current requirement to work a minimum of one day a week at our head office in Hemyock EX15 3PF with the option to working from Bridgwater TA6 4TB the rest of the week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
