Main Function
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate will work as part of our finance team, currently 5, to strengthen our finance capability, improve reporting timeliness, and support better decision-making across the company.
The role will support the Financial Controller in providing a robust finance service. You will be a Financial Business Partner helping to improve the decision-making process.
Role responsibilities:
Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts, ensuring both accuracy and adherence to group reporting deadlines.
Perform variance analysis and commentary on budget, forecast, and prior year.
Support budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting.
Collaborate with heads of departments across retail, e-commerce, marketing, IT & business support to strengthen integration between finance and rest of the business & provide financial insight.
Monitor KPIs and support decision-making through ad hoc analysis on pricing, margin, and business scenarios
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and uphold strong financial controls.
Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts UK & USA
Coordinate the external audit process, ensuring timely responses to audit queries
Review and develop current accounting processes to bring efficiencies into the business.
Deliver ad-hoc analysis and support to senior management across departments
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management.

Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified accountant holding a ACA, ACCA, CIMA professional qualification with 1 year post qualification experience.
You will have strong Excel / Data analytic skills.
Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office suite.
Ability to retain product knowledge to a high level.
