Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a thriving retail business in Bristol. This role focuses on month-end management accounts, preparing reports, finance business partnering, FP&A and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with the finance team and wider business to streamline processes.
- Ensure timely reporting to key stakeholders in the retail sector.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in Sage 200 and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Experience within the retail industry is advantageous.
- Competitive salary between 45,000 and 55,000 per annum.
