Management Accountant

Job Description

The LOVALL team is growing and we're looking for a management accountant to support in all areas of finance - Preparing management accounts, business reports and managing cash flow. You'll work alongside the directors, senior members of the team and external financial advisors, to ensure the business is in control of its financial position and fully compliant for auditing purposes. Lovall is a fast growing online business, operating D2C, B2B and internationally. All key decisions within the business are supported with a financial viewpoint, so the successful candidate needs to be willing to join us on the continued growth journey, willing to learn, and view things with a holistic vision. The position is a balance of day to day accounting requirements and supporting on the financial strategy of the business.

What you will do at LOVALL:



Month-end accounting duties Profit and loss and cashflow reporting Payroll administration Accrual and prepayments Balance sheet and Bank reconciliations Quarterly VAT return filing European VAT filing Manage all outbound payments Financial performance reporting Support the directors with financial planning Work alongside our tax advisor and prepare for audits Assist with operations and inventory planning Improve current processes and systems Flexible with supporting on other internal reporting

We would love it if you:



Significant experience as a management accountant Ability to prepare management accounts with faultless reconciliation and analytical skills Xero experience beneficial Experience with an online business preferable -Shopify/ Paypal, Klarna etc Work in an accurate, concise and structured manner Excellent spreadsheet skills - A data enthusiast Good communication skills A progressive thinker with an open mind toward technology, automation and innovation.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Cannock (Staffordshire): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Payroll: 1 year (required) Accounting for E-commerce/Online sales: 1 year (required) accounting: 3 years (required)
