Role Description



This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rettendon for a Management Accountant at Brentwood Communications Ltd.

The role involves :

Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Perform bookkeeping and reconcile purchase ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve purchase ledger discrepancies to ensure accurate product costing. Conduct reconciliations for multicurrency bank accounts. Reconcile supplier statements. Assist with intercompany transactions, invoicing and reconciliation. Contribute to month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset register (FAR) maintenance. Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met. Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns. Accurately calculate and report VAT on imports and exports, particularly under the UK's Postponed VAT Accounting system for imports. Process monthly deferred revenue and maintain relevant schedules. Track and analyse weekly sales revenue, providing detailed reports and insights to the Finance Director. Adhere to internal company standards and meet internal/external audit requirements. Manage time effectively to achieve KPIs for the role. Complete and manage Office for National Statistics (ONS) Business Surveys. Analyse stock levels, write-offs, and adjustments. Reconcile and verify all company credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Calculate employee business mileage and maintain records. Excellent knowledge of Sage 50.

Qualifications



Financial Statements and Accruals expertise Must have multi company experience and experience of inter company transactions Analytical Skills in finance and accounting Experience in Finance and Accounting roles Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
