Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to senior management.

Budgeting & Forecasting

: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, working closely with senior management to track performance and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Cost Control

: Oversee the analysis of product costs and profitability, ensuring that cost structures align with operational and strategic goals.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

: Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and inventory levels to ensure optimal working capital and liquidity.

Compliance & Governance

: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, driving continuous improvement in financial controls and reporting systems.

Key Requirements:

Experience

: Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a commercial manufacturing environment, with specific exposure to working with retail customers.

Education

: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or equivalent.

Industry Knowledge

: Strong understanding of the manufacturing process, cost management, and financial analysis related to retail customer channels.

Technical Skills

: Advanced knowledge of financial software in particular Sage and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.

Commercial Acumen

: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Communication Skills

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in an understandable and actionable way for non-financial stakeholders.
