Job Title: Management Accountant

Here at Atlas Copco Deeside, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join the Finance Team, responsible for to play a key role in statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial insight for our R&D function. If you have a passion for accuracy, continuous improvement, and business partnering, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Roles and responsibilities

Prepare statutory accounts and ensure tax compliance, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and RDEC submissions, while coordinating external audits. Manage fixed assets and capital projects, including maintaining the asset register, reviewing investment applications, and monitoring R&D projects. Act as Finance Business Partner to R&D, providing financial analysis, insights, and training to non-finance teams. Support month-end close, forecasting, and business planning, ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Drive digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives within finance and across other departments.

You'll thrive if you are:

CIMA/ACCA/AAT qualified, or by experience Strong ERP system knowledge (e.g. SysPro, SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills Ability to deliver accurate, timely information and explain financial data clearly. Well-organised, structured approach with strong communication skills. Approachable, pragmatic, and passionate about learning and innovation.

You might have experience in:

Working within a global engineering company A multi layered finance function Working within the manufacturing sector or similar
