Bellamianta is a fast-growing, innovative brand within the beauty and cosmetics industry, supplying both digital and retail channels globally. As the company expands, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to lead the finance function, strengthen financial governance, and support commercial performance across the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise advanced accounting software and financial management skills within a dynamic organisation. The Management Accountant will play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Leadership & Reporting



Ownership of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements. Preparation of consolidated management accounts Weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting including KPIs and analysis Accounting administration and compliance to ensure accurate, timely and efficient operations.

Banking, Treasury & Financing



Banking, FX and treasury account management Ownership of financing facilities, decision-making and complex financial transactions Management of working capital Cashflow visibility, forecasting and oversight of capital operations.

Digital, eCommerce & Retail Platforms



Oversee and manage end-to-end financial processes for digital and retail platforms including Shopify and TikTok Responsibility for payment gateways, reconciliation accuracy and integration with accounting systems Reconciliation of sales from multiple channels and preparation of weekly sales reporting

Compliance, Tax & Regulatory



Multi-jurisdiction VAT returns, including: Quarterly UK VAT returns Bi-monthly ROI VAT returns OSS submissions Intrastat returns Reconciliation of VAT, PAYE and statutory obligations Ensuring ongoing compliance across multiple jurisdictions and legal frameworks.

Ledger & System Management



Debtors and creditors ledger control Weekly reconciliations of debtors, creditors and bank accounts Production of financial reports and analysis from Xero Continuous improvement of system processes within XERO.

Cash Management & Working Capital



Monitoring cash flow, liquidity and working capital to support optimal financial health Contributing to budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning Monitoring debtors and driving timely collections in accordance with credit control procedures Ensuring timely processing and payment of creditor invoices in line with internal approval procedures.

Responsibilities



Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets to support organisational objectives Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to record and reconcile financial data Oversee financial management activities including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control Support month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with relevant accounting standards Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members, fostering professional development Collaborate with external auditors during audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records Monitor cash flow and optimise working capital management strategies.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role within the financial services sector Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent systems Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices Experience with financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Demonstrated mentoring abilities and a collaborative approach to team development Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA are preferred but not essential.
