This role requires a finance professional with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance to policy and regulation.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Management Accountant will be self-motivated and capable of operating autonomously in a regularly changing environment. Providing useful insight into the monthly expenditure of the UK operation and supporting departments with analytics and regulatory changes.
REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The role reports to the Group Financial Controller with other key contacts being
Chief Financial Officer
Finance and payroll teams
Heads of Departments
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of monthly journals
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Reporting of profit and loss and cost centre spending, monthly and adhoc as required.
Cash flow analysis and forecasting, in multiple currencies
Provide support on areas of governance, risk and compliance, for example TP, CCO, SAO and risk registers.
Preparation of schedules to support annual statutory reporting
Support UK statutory audit process at interim and end of year
Technical support to wider business with accounting knowledge, for example VAT and taxation.
Become a super user of the ERP system to support implementation and testing of changes made to the system and the impact on finance reporting and controls.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Experience of financial reporting and working to deadlines
Proficient in utilising Excel
Strong team player and effective communicator; verbal & written
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute within deadlines
Strong analytical skills and eye for detail and accuracy

Strong work ethic and organized
Able to work effectively within frameworks without direct supervision
Excellent stakeholder management including the ability to communicate outside of finance

Adaptable with ability to respond to change in a fast-paced environment
KEY MEASURES
3 years post qualified or QBE experience in similar key Finance role.
Microsoft and relevant IT tools. ERP System, preferably Business Central
