Overview

The Birchwood Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join it's busy Finance Department, based at the head office within the Ford dealership in Eastbourne.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, whilst also collaborating effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Production of accurate monthly sets of management accounts in accordance with group policies and procedures which are to be submitted within set deadlines

Reviewing management accounts and supporting documents with the Dealership Management Team (occasional travel to other sites is required). Submission of monthly composite data to the manufacturer Balance sheet reconciliations Oversee accounts receivable Oversee accounts payable Vehicle debtors All other ad-hoc financial reporting requirements Additional responsibilities as and when required in accordance with the needs of the business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

CIMA (qualified or part qualified) Previous experience in a Management Accountant role (experience in the automotive industry would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided across the various systems). Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position Have an accurate and methodical approach to work, meeting deadlines and prioritising Excellent attention to detail

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30

Salary:

37,000 basic + bonus (40,000 OTE)

Holiday:

22 days + bank holidays
