Management Accountant

to join our Finance team.

The role will involve:

In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in delivering high-quality management accounting and financial insight to support decision-making across the business, and their responsibilities will include:

Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet commentary, and supporting schedules Delivering accurate and timely variance analysis against budget and forecast, with clear explanations of performance drivers. Producing concise and insightful reporting for internal stakeholders Leading and supporting the annual budget preparation process Supporting regular reforecasting and rolling forecast processes Challenging assumptions and improve the quality and robustness of budgets and forecasts Analysing cost and revenue trends, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Supporting development of financial models and scenario analysis where required Contributing to performance reporting and KPI development Providing financial support and insight to operational teams Maintaining strong financial controls and reconciliation processes. Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting, and systems Assisting with audit and year-end activities as required
What we are looking for:

Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Proven experience of budget preparation and forecasting. Highly proficient in variance analysis and performance reporting Experience providing financial insight to non-finance stakeholders, supporting operational and commercial decision-making Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets Strong understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls Substantial hands-on experience in a management accounting role, with end-to-end responsibility for month-end processes Experience contributing to process improvement, systems development, or reporting enhancements Commercially aware, curious, and solutions-focused, with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively Proactive and well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across the business

Pay: From 38,000.00 per year
