Accountancy Connect is working for a growing business in Fareham assisting their search for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

If you are coming to the end of your ACCA/CIMA/ACA studies or you have recently become qualified, this role may be of interest.

This role would be an ideal move for someone who has been assisting with month end tasks and who is now ready to take ownership to start the next phase of their development. The Financial Controller will provide initial support for the right individual to learn the processes with a view for the incoming Management Accountant to start taking ownership of the first draft management accounts and group reporting.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities once up to speed will include:

Preparing first draft management accounts, group reporting and VAT Returns. Supporting the budgeting & forecast process Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register Accruals and prepayments Review and approval of bank reconciliations Review and approval of payment runs Management of month end reconciliations Other general accounting tasks.

Qualifications and experience:

Finalist or newly qualified - ACCA/CIMA/ACA Previous experience of assisting with the duties shown above. Strong Excel skills - Pivot Tables and Vlookups

Pay: 38,000.00-43,000.00 per year
