We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Construction team based in the North of the UK.
Location
: North - hybrid working available, with travel to the offices as and when required
Hours
: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Management Accountant, you'll be working within the Kier Construction team, supporting them in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to underpin business decisions.
Your day-to-day will include:
Delivering month-end reporting with quality, timely and accurate information, ensuring controls and reconciliations are in place.
Gathering and analysing monthly variances to forecast, supported with commentary for material issues.
Producing monthly overhead analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Supporting quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
Driving continuous improvements and best practice across reporting.
What are we looking for?
This role of Management Accountant is great for you if:
You are a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience
You can produce high-quality management information and have strong systems skills (Oracle and Power BI preferred).
You are capable of liaising with, supporting and influencing operational/commercial management.
You can work on your own initiative and ideally have construction industry experience.
You are technically capable, commercially aware, and flexible to travel as necessary.
