Job Description
The Management Accountant will support the Accounting & Finance department by managing financial tasks related to client accounts. This role is based in Hove and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Handle supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
- Monitor cash flow and bank reconciliations.
- Respond to client financial queries promptly.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to improve processes.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, with start to finish management accounting production knowledge.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- A competitive salary ranging from 35,000 to 38,000 per annum.
