IStructE is a charity and the professional body for structural engineers. We have a global membership who have designed many of the world's iconic structures, as well as many of the buildings and bridges we take almost for granted in our daily lives.

Creating safer structures for the benefit of the public is at the heart of our remit, and this includes environmental sustainability with structural engineers and the Institution at the heart of the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change.

The Role:



Our finance team are an integral part of the Institution, and this role requires a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to help maintain the integrity and accuracy of our financial records.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role takes ownership of management accounts for our subsidiaries -- IStructE Ltd, Structural Engineers Registration Ltd, and Structural Safety Ltd -- as well as reporting for The Institution of Structural Engineers. This role leads on all financial matters for our subsidiaries, from VAT returns and financial planning to supporting the year-end audit. This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with Heads of Department, providing valuable analysis and insight to guide the organisation's commercial activities.

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:



- Fully qualified as an Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Experience producing management accounts
- Understanding and working knowledge of accounts, audit preparation, budgeting and reforecasting best practices

Experience working in developing and critically reviewing P&L statements/reports would be advantageous.
