Job Summary

Routen Chaplin is an insurance broker based in the heart of Long Eaton and we are looking to strengthen our team with the recruitment of a Management Accountant.
The Management Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial health of our organisation. This position is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be proficient in Excel and Sage.

Duties

Hands on, all encompassing role Process insurer invoices and payments Maintain cashflow forecast Produce monthly management accounts Credit Control Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure adherence to internal controls and FCA regulatory requirements in all financial activities.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software , Sage Line 50 and Excel. AAT qualification or finalist Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Experience in financial accounting and reporting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments. Pay: 30,000.00-37,000.00 per year
