Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in providing financial insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.



This person will have an intimate knowledge with both how the numbers get created and how the key dynamics in the business work to understand business performance. As part of a growing company this individual has the potential to have a critical role in shaping how we support this growth from Finance.

Your Daily Quest (Key Responsibilities):

Prepare monthly management accounts for the designated entities in an accurate, timely and efficient way. Build an in-depth understanding of our business and processes and provide commentary explaining the financial performance and variance analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Monitor financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and external regulations. Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations. Contribute to systems/process improvements within finance Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors Responsible for debt management with the assistance of the Credit controller Preparation of the related statutory accounts and tax compliance Working with external accountants to file statutory documents and ensure compliance in the local country Reconciliation and compliance for VAT reconciliations and submission Ad hoc analysis (e.g. ONS Survey) Take part in any other ad hoc strategic project

The Secret Sauce (Key Experience & Skills):

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous experience in a similar role*
Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills and finance processes such as month-end and year-end practices*
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.*
Effective communicator with the ability to partner across different teams*
Flexible and adaptable, open to taking on new challenges beyond core duties*
Advanced Excel Skills*
Sage X*
