Charltons is looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the business with management information.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple business areas, ensuring our financial systems and processes evolve in line with our ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts and reports to agreed deadlines
Maintain control over Purchase and Sales Ledgers, Petty Cash, and Credit Card processing
Complete monthly reconciliations for balance sheet, bank, payroll, and fixed assets
Manage VAT, import-related activity, and other regulatory returns
Process inter-company transactions and month-end journals
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure compliance with financial policies
Support the statutory audit process and develop financial procedures
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate, timely management information
About You
Part or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Management Accountant role
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP essential)
Experience with ERP systems (Xero, Navision desirable)
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
Excellent communication and analytical skills
