Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant within the construction sector, based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a strong accounting and finance background.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to aid decision making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and systems.
- Participate in the implementation of new accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
- Support the external audit process.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or studying towards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- A competitive salary of around xc2xa345,000 - xc2xa350,000 GBP.
- 25 days annual leave rising to 26 after 2 years' service with the option to buy or sell holidays.
