Job Description
A leading multi-division services business is on the lookout for a Management Accountant for their Manchester office. This is a high-impact role where you'll partner closely with senior operational leaders, ensuring robust financial reporting across several high-volume testing businesses.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering accurate, timely reporting of revenue, accrued income, and direct costs
- Driving margin accuracy through tight stock and cost control
- Supporting budget and forecast processes across multiple business units
- Partnering with operational teams to improve financial insight and accountability
- Playing a key role in external audits and wider finance transformation projects
- A finalist or qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong core accounting knowledge
- Experience in operational or project-based environments (construction or engineering a plus)
- A confident business partner with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders
- Someone analytical, proactive, and highly organised
- Excel whiz with a systems-first mindset
