About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our Head Office team on a fixed-term contract. You will take ownership of monthly accounts, deliver insightful financial analysis, and provide business partnering support across a variety of departments.
Main Responsibilities:
Produce monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and departmental reporting
Carry out variance analysis with commentary on performance by department, region, and project
Act as Business Partner for Head Office cost centres, including planning and cost reviews
Ensure balance sheet items and loan balances are reconciled accurately and on time
Oversee group recharges, loans, and compliance with IFRS9/transfer pricing rules
Manage VAT returns and coordinate with external tax specialists
Support consistent accounting treatment for benefits and investments
Assist with group reporting, relief adjustments, and dividend processes
Help improve and document finance processes
Contribute to wider projects as needed
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
At least 3 years' experience in a finance role
Background in private equity, acquisitive, or professional services businesses is desirable
Strong communication skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders
Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and improve processes
Strong Excel and general MS Office ability
