Role Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts; producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Balance sheet reconciliation monthly; ensuring all reconciliations are completed and discrepancies resolved.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Using in-house software to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting.
Liaising with key stakeholders to analyse client revenue and track performance again forecast
Financial reporting and analysis; using inhouse software to provide financial insights ie profitability, cost to income ratios, revenue splits, key trends and analysis etc
Support CFO to optimise and improve financial dashboard; proactively innovating and improving
Billing Support: Assisting the Billing Partner to ensure accurate billing before invoices are sent out.
Overhead Cost Analysis: Ensuring all overheads are tracked and optimised efficiently.
Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Payroll Preparation: Collaborating with internal teams and external accountants to finalise payroll.
VAT Returns: Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
Supplier Payments: Managing weekly supplier payments and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Cash Flow Forecasting: Preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability.
Proactively development and improve financial processes and practice
Keep up to date with financial and industry trends and applying to the business to suggest innovations and improvements

Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the advertising or media industry.
Familiarity with MediaOcean (integrated media and accounts package) is highly desirable.
Proficiency with G Suite and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent numerical thinking skills
Attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
