Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Altrincham (100% Office-Based)

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're working with a well-established business based in Altrincham to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced management accountant looking to grow their career within a collaborative and dynamic finance team.

This position is 100% office-based and would suit someone who thrives in a supportive environment where their input is valued at both operational and strategic levels.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including inter-company reconciliations Supporting year-end close and liaising with external auditors Producing cash flow forecasts and supporting day-to-day cash management Delivering profitability reporting, identifying financial trends, risks, and opportunities Contributing to the preparation of statutory and non-statutory returns, including VAT and other tax submissions Supporting Company Secretary duties and providing financial advice on business decisions Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
What We're Looking For

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - Essential Currently working as a Management Accountant in a fast-paced environment Strong Excel and accounting software skills Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and analytical approach Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders A team player who can also work independently and manage competing priorities
