Summary

We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our team based in Oakham. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our financial management strategies and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

The role will report to the Financial Director of our sister company and will be a key member of the Cabel Senior Management team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow. Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations and reporting. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. Experience of supporting in business cases/feasibility study for acquisitions/company expansion projects UK/globally.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role. ACCA qualified or partial qualified AAT qualified Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software i.e Sage, EMIR Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
