Job Description

The role:

The company entered the UK Cruise Market in 2021 and have grown the operation considerably during this time. We will be further expanding our operation in 2026.

The Management Accountant will work closely with our Finance Team to ensure that monthly management accounts are accurate and timely.

Full training will be provided on in house and third-party systems.

The position is full time, and the place of work will be hybrid from our head office at Purfleet as well as the ability to work from your own home; according to the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of holding company management accounts: P&L, balance sheet & cash flow including consolidations. Review intercompany transactions, ensuring related parties contra the positions Maintenance of balance sheet control accounts and development of process improvement. Including: Month end journals Prepayments & Accruals Stock Deferred Revenue Intercompany Accounts Various ad hoc reports and tasks as required. Liaising with external auditors VAT and other tax returns

Key Attributes:

Experience

2-5 years accountancy experience essential. Travel and Cruise experience desirable. Experience of Power BI desirable. Familiar with EU VAT and multi-currency transactions French Speaking and knowledge of French accounting desirable

Qualifications

CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified desirable but not essential

Pay: Up to 47,000.00 per year
