Job Description

A new vacancy is now available for a Management Accountant to join the RKW Ltd Finance function. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant, you will take a key role within Financial Reporting team, to lead the production of company-wide monthly Accounts.


If you are Qualified or Near / Part Qualified, across ACCA / CIMA / ACA - and want to join a sector-leading business, get in touch now. Experience within the retail sector would be beneficial but is not essential.


Overall Purpose:


Focusing on production of Monthly Management Accounts for R K Wholesale Limited, including Revenue, Cost of Sales, Stock Valuation and Overheads and Balance Sheet Controls.


Desirable Attributes:


A strong analytical approach with good excel skills, good communication and a team focused attitude and a good understanding of accounting principles


Duties:


Analysing large amounts of Financial Data - 150m T/O company
Closing Stock Valuations
Gross Margin Analysis
Accruals & Prepayments
Overheads Analysis
Calculate and post month-end journals
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Ensure compliance with Internal control systems and Statutory Financial regulations.


Qualifications:


At least Part-Qualified - ACCA / CIMA / ACA
