The Role
We are seeking a
Management Accountant
to join our team and play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making. This is a new position within GCS, offering an exciting opportunity to shape processes and contribute to the charity's success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and explain variances against budget.
Develop reporting processes for accurate and timely departmental reports.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations.
Support the Head of Finance & Operations with policy and process development.
Assist with payroll submissions for 100+ employees and process payroll journals.
Contribute to annual budget preparation and audit processes.
About You
Qualifications:
Professional Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT) or qualified by experience.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in financial management, budgeting, and reporting (charity sector experience desirable).
Skills:
Strong analytical ability, proficiency in Xero and Excel, excellent communication skills.
