We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management activities, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning. Manage accounts payable processes ensuring timely and accurate payments. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to maintain precise financial records. Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards. Assist in the development of financial strategies and provide insights for cost optimisation. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on financial procedures and best practices. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial management across the organisation. Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and explanations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial management role within the financial services sector. Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or equivalent systems. Demonstrable knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounts payable processes and overall financial management responsibilities. Previous mentoring or team leadership experience is advantageous. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting is desirable.
