This job can be done around your full-time job. Only Applicants located in Telford and surrounding areas will be considered. Applicants not in Telford or surrounding areas can only be considered for online work.

The Role

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports with accuracy. Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure effective cost control. Analyse financial performance and provide insightful recommendations to stakeholders. Maintain and reconcile balance sheets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively. Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to support business planning and strategy. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and flag risks/opportunities Report KPIs and identify levers to improve business outcomes. Payroll and VAT.

Qualified accountant with strong month-end experience Confident communicator with stakeholder-facing experience Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Experience in preparing management accounts and supporting decision-making
