Hugely successful consultancy/advisory company based in Harrogate are looking for a confident and commercially minded individual to take ownership of the monthly management accounts for a key geographical region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team where your insight and analysis will directly support strategic decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Lead on accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
Analyse commercial contracts and extract key financial data.
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support audit processes.
Act as the main point of contact for finance queries related to a growing property portfolio.
Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and reporting.
Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and challenge variances.
Support budgeting processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and support junior team members.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
Currently studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualifications with the commitment to become a fully qualified accountant.
Previous management accounts preparation experience ideally within a group function.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate finance KPI's to none finance divisions.
Desire to mentor/manage and develop your skill set in people management.
