This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation where finance plays a key role in commercial decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of
monthly management accounts
, including:
Accurate accruals and prepayments
Variance analysis vs budget and forecast
Clear, insightful MI and commentary for senior stakeholders
Production and development of
management information (MI)
to support operational and strategic decision-making
Support
budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting
processes
Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
Provide detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Partner with non-finance stakeholders to improve financial understanding and performance
Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants/auditors where required
Identify and drive
process improvements
within finance and reporting
About You
Proven experience in a
Management Accountant or similar role
Strong MI and analytical capability with the confidence to challenge and add value
Part-qualified, finalist or qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) - or qualified by experience
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, growing business
Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
Confident communicator, able to work closely with senior stakeholders
