Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a respected organisation within the service sector industry. Based in Wigan, you will play a vital role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department with your expertise in managing financial operations.
The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment which could be extended and will offer Hybrid working- 3 days in Wigan office/2 remote.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
- P/L & Variance Analysis
- Production and assist with month end process by posting general ledgers journals in SAP, prepare accurate schedules for accruals, prepayments and provisions for the management accounts.
- Ensure monthly sales report reconciles with Profit and Loss statement and production of other monthly reports to be submitted to the Group.
- Prepare daily cashflow forecasting
- Business Partnering
In order to apply for the role you should:
- Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Have experience in Preparing Management Accounts
- Be able to consider a temporary role initially
- Be able to commute 3 days per week to Wigan office
