Cromwood Housing Group is seeking a proactive Management Assistant to support HR and Legal. You will provide administrative and operational support, ensuring efficiency in HR processes, legal documentation, and compliance.

This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will engage with senior leadership, uphold confidentiality, and facilitate seamless communication across departments. Working hours

: Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm

Contract:

Full time, permanent

Salary:

31,250 per annum

Duties and responsibilities include:



HR Support



Serving as the initial point of contact for HR queries Assist the HR Manager with the recruitment process, issuing offer letters, employment contracts and gain all references and apply for criminal records checks (DBS) Enter new hire/leaver information into the HR systems Creating and maintaining employee records Assist with payroll, providing the right data in the appropriate format to enable an accurate and timely payroll run Support HR related training programs and workshops Support the development of the Company Wellbeing and Development Program Conduct HR auditing and reporting Ensuring all HR administration is processed in an accurate and timely fashion.

Legal Support



Assist in reviewing documents related to property and tenancy matters Help manage the complaints handling process for the whole organisation Help manage caseloads by organising files, maintaining accurate records, and tracking deadlines to ensure efficient workflow Assist with minute taking tasks in board and manager meetings Communicate with tenants, and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing updates on matters Provide administrative support to the Legal Services Manager during legal proceedings Handle administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, and maintaining electronic and physical records Collaborate with the Legal Services Manager to provide services to the housing association. Stay updated on changes in housing law and regulations and assist in implementing necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Key knowledge experience and skills



Essential:



Previous administrative/assistant experience in an office environment Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Process-oriented with strategic planning skills Ability to balance and prioritise competing demands effectively Strong administration skills and proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) Hight attention to detail and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:



Experience in HR administration or related support role Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws Background in housing or related sectors
