What is the position?




We are looking for a Manager, Accounting to join our accounting team who will be responsible for preparing periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting guidance, and providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders and auditors, including but not limited to:

Oversee and ensure accuracy in the recording of payroll and other compensation arrangements, adhering to U.S. GAAP, and FRS 102 as needed, and company policy. Assist with finalizing notes and disclosures according to GAAP and FRS 102 standards. Support the VP Accounting in the preparation of financial statements for the UK, Ireland, IOM and other subsidiaries which may be assigned, in the relevant country's accounting standards. Manage the audit for the company's assigned non-US entities including coordinating resources, supplying evidence, reconciling source documents to the general ledger, and completing interrogatories. Accessing payroll detail and reconciliation with HR to support the wider Finance team Supporting bonus accrual analysis and software capitalization calculations for the group Supporting payroll audit requests for all companies during audits for finance Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as human resources, FP&A, tax, legal, financial systems, internal control, and business partners. Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of accounting SOPs and educate the accounting team. Responding to ad hoc financial information requests and analyses as assigned.

What are we looking for?




Required and preferred candidate skills and experience:

BA/BS in Accounting and CPA or equivalent required. Master's degree in Accounting a plus. Minimum of five years' experience in accounting, accounting policy and/or financial reporting. In-depth knowledge of FRS 102 and some knowledge of US GAAP. Background with a gaming, digital, or e-commerce company preferred. Proven ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships across teams and various levels in the organization, including management, colleagues, and auditors. Ability to provide leadership, training, and mentoring to staff members, while balancing multiple projects at any given time. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly proficient with Excel.
