An established Bed and Breakfast business in Belfast is looking for a Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business/property. The incumbent would be responsible for daily housekeeping, daily self serve buffet breakfast, ensuring positive guest experience, and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and compliance.
This role typically involves hands-on management, looking after the interior and the exterior of the facillty and guest interation.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent would be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lounges, dining rooms, hallways, and entryways
Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels
Manage breakfast setup, serving and kitchen duties, inculding managing supplies and general cleaniness.
Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes, manage room bookings, and respond promptly to guest queries and complaints.
Plan and coordinate maintenance work, liaising with contractors as needed to keep the property in good condition.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and local hospitality standards1.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain guest satisfaction1.
Monitor inventory and order supplies to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is essential; prior management experience is highly valued
A degree in hospitality management, business, tourism, or a related field is required.
Local knowledge of Belfast and the surrounding area is beneficial for advising guests.
