We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Manager Channel Analytics.

Data & Analytics (D&A) provides best in class data and analytics services to various WPB functions and entities across HSBC. Members of the D&A community are involved in data analyses and modelling, strategy development and implementation, data management, business intelligence and MI reporting. These analyses enable effective decision making to help HSBC effectively meet customer needs and enhance customer experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop presentations that are \xe2\x80\x9cBusiness Ready\xe2\x80\x9d, to appropriately showcase the work done by the team, with appropriate story-telling and insightful interpretation of trends / enable and coach the team as well to develop such skills.
  • Participate, contribute, and lead implementation of aspects of Project design, development and governance activities, whether arising locally or from the regional business partners
  • Quantify the value/benefit delivered by strategies or improving the existing process/function/work-stream through standardization and automation (by guiding and directing team efforts/skills).
  • Lead end-to-end project management and delivery of models, forecasts, strategies using Python, R, SQL along with skills in Data Visualization and MS Suite based simulation/scenario analyses tools; but not necessarily restricted to these.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Analytics & Business Consulting Experience
  • Ability to confidently interact with senior stakeholders and communicate and synthesize information in a simple form.
  • Strong analytical skills of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.
  • Strong data visualization skills with the knowledge of QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Prior experience of managing and delivering key transformation projects.
  • Willingness to learn, positive attitude and a commercial mindset
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
