Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the necessary skills to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role requires strong management and leadership abilities, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both children parents and staff.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children in a childcare setting Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Help supervise the children on the walk to and from school Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical growth Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare environment Assist in managing daily routines, including meal times, and play activities Provide support for children with special needs or developmental challenges when necessary Keep accurate records of children's attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones. Completing staff rota's and appraisals as and when required. Working with trustees to ensure the service we provide is fit for purpose.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential BA childhood practice or equivalent A background in childhood education is highly desirable Strong management and leadership skills to guide other staff members effectively Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children and parents clearly Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various age groups and developmental stages Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are crucial for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 15.22 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
