We are looking for an experienced, minimum level 3 qualified Nursery Manager to join our new nursery in Rustington

Requirements:

Successful candidates must have:

Minimum of level 3 NVQ or equivalent

Early years and childcare (social care qualification is not applicable)

Clear Enhanced DBS

(this can be applied for through our nursery)

A minimum of 3 years experience in a nursery setting

Safeguarding minimum level 2

(preferred)

Paediatric first aid

(preferred)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Manager to join our small friendly team. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the nursery, providing a high standard of care and education for all children and ensuring the team are performing to high standards.

You will need to hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification, have good understanding of Health and Safety with excellent communication skills both verbal and written to liaise with children, staff and parents. Safeguarding is a top priority and you will be Safeguarding Lead, we will ensure the relevant training is provided but we do expect you to have completed a level of Safeguarding training previously.

You should have extensive knowledge of OFSTED and EYFS guidelines, previous experience of inspections would be a bonus, and improvement in standards even better.

You will need to be thorough and organised on the administration side of the role, comfortable with numbers and methodical in managing budgets, invoicing and LA funding. Support can be provided to prepare you for this element of the role.
