Reports to:
Head of Compliance, Bullish Exchange
Role & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with Gibraltar regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements. Perform transaction monitoring, market surveillance and sanctions screening. Manage alerts, conduct investigations including case management through to resolution. Identify and report any compliance issues or deficiencies to the Head of Exchange Compliance. Independently investigate and act on matters related to Compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of financial crime systems and controls. Provide advisory support to colleagues on financial crime escalations, including customer onboarding, customer behaviour, regulatory changes, and other relevant topics. Support the regular review, maintenance and updates of Compliance policies and procedures to ensure the implementation of appropriate controls that reflect business needs and regulatory requirements. Assist in internal, external, regulatory, and AML/CTF audits. Collaborate with external advisors and consultants on compliance matters.
Operate in a dynamic and unstructured environment to support the delivery of multiple firm-wide projects.
Deliver results both as an individual and as part of a global team.

Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience working in a financial services compliance environment, such as banking, fintech, payments, or insurance. Proven experience in one or more financial crime disciplines: AML, Sanctions, Fraud, market manipulation, and/or investigations, ideally with exposure to virtual assets. Relevant experience in virtual assets compliance and risk monitoring positions. Prior transaction monitoring experience including fiat and virtual assets, blockchain analytics and market surveillance. Strong analytical skills and the ability to convey complex information in an easily understandable manner. Exposure to compliance technology software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. ICA Advanced Certificate/Diploma or ACAMS compliance qualifications are desirable.
