Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our Tickencote Diner. OK DINERS are one of the UK's best loved American Diners. we currently have 9 restaurants in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both guests and staff experience exceptional service. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards in our kitchen and restaurant areas, promoting a culture of teamwork, service and culinary excellence.

Duties



To lead your teams hands on from the front and by example to create a customer responsive culture where exceptional customer service prevails, and absolute standards are adhered to ensuring a fantastic reputation and a genuine, memorable visit for each customer. To oversee all aspects of the business, maximising profits, minimising loss and capitalising on opportunities for business growth. Use the P&L account to enhance commercial and financial opportunities in terms of costs, controls, productivity levels and product development in order to maximise profits . To oversee stock control and ordering to ensure controls are maintained and minimise wastage. To produce and monitor staff rotas in line with the agreed wage budget. To keep a record of hours worked and declare them in line with the company procedure Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity. To ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety Legislation, maintaining both to a high standard. To maximise individual's potential through a positive commitment to training, development and succession planning at all levels. To ensure our high standard of food and drink quality is adhered to.

Requirements



Experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and guests alike. A passion for good quality food, demonstrating an understanding of kitchen operations and organisation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
